I know that it’s only mid-February, but we’ve had such a mild winter that it really feels like spring has arrived. This past weekend we were on Galiano and I took advantage of the warm, clear weather to get an early start on prepping the gardens. We also did some more broome cutting and burning - a great start to spring!

We booked a long weekend on Mount Washington. It should have been epic, but instead the conditions were horrendous! We skied one day and did some tubing but it was really a bust as there was no snow! At the end of January I had a short work trip to Minneapolis for an event with one of our Partners. It was a good opportunity to catch up with a bunch of people I had not seen in a while, and one of the fun aspects of this event is that they do ice fishing as part of the last big social event of the night!

In the meantime, we had a fun night out at Harry Potter at the Symphony and this past weeked on Galiano we had a bit of an inversion, which offered up some incredible views.

I started off the year with a week-long trip to Las Vegas to attend CES! It had been about 10 years since the last time I had been to the show and I was excited for many reasons. I love checking out new tech and this is the place for that. From a work perspective we are launching a new product in late January and this was going to be a good chance to show off the new device to media and get some feedback. And poker - there’s always poker when in Vegas!
