Justine and I finally managed to sneak a couple of days of skiing this year! We left it pretty much until the end of the season, but we had an super-fun weekend at Silver Star Mountain resort near Vernon in the interior. It was a long way to go for a couple of days, but it ended up being excellent and a great way to wrap up “winter”.

I know that it’s only mid-February, but we’ve had such a mild winter that it really feels like spring has arrived. This past weekend we were on Galiano and I took advantage of the warm, clear weather to get an early start on prepping the gardens. We also did some more broome cutting and burning - a great start to spring!

We booked a long weekend on Mount Washington. It should have been epic, but instead the conditions were horrendous! We skied one day and did some tubing but it was really a bust as there was no snow!
