East Coast Adventure - Halifax, Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg

At the end of May/beginning of June Justine and I had almost 2 weeks off and headed east to the Maritimes for our first big trip of the year. Alex was graduating from Dal Law School, and we were honoured to have been invited to attend her graduation ceremony. As I had never been to the Maritimes, and Jus had only ever visited PEI, it seemed like the perfect excuse to plan a larger trip around the big day. More Than a Week on Galiano

I had a rare treat this week - I was spending more than a week on Galiano! We came over on a Thursday evening, I and was staying through the following Sunday to manage the Panorama Lane road rebuild. Justine was taking the ferry back on Sunday night, and coming back over on the following Friday night. While I had a busy week of work ahead of me, it also meant I could focus on a number of projects in the evenings.

A Start to Spring?

After a full three weeks away, we made our first post-snow trip back to Galiano. There had been some storms and other weather, and we were interested to see the state of the place and to start the process of moving from winter to spring. We had lots of projects to do, and it looked like we might have some nice weather to do them in.
