After a couple of weeks in Europe, it was a quick turn around at home before hoping on a plane to Montréal! Justine and I had planned a 2-week vacation (definitely needed) centered around the Canadian Grand Prix F1 race in Montreal. We wanted to do a little more than just the city, so we rented a car and headed out to explore the surrounding region as well.

The recap continues! Saturday was qualifying, and the weather was awful. While that sucked for sitting in the stands in the pouring rain, if we were sitting at home watching this on TV, it would be exactly what we would have been hoping for! Qualifying under wet conditions almost always results in surprises and usually ends up with an interesting starting grid for race day.
