Last post! This collects the rest of my photos from our time on Mount Rainier. This included some great shots at Christine Falls, our hike around Reflection Lakes and some last bird, wildflower and waterfalls pictures. It was a great trip, and I hope you’ve enjoyed all the photos!

This was pretty indicative of the weather over our last few days in the park. We didn’t see a lot of the mountains - mostly just clouds obscuring the peak.

It might be the most perfectly set-up waterfall shot around. Christine Falls.

There were lots of birds in this section of the trip.
These were interesting - I’ve not seen all black Grey (Canada) Jays before.

The trail disappears into the lush forest of the valley floor.

Still not a lot of wildflowers about.

It was a dramatic, atmospheric day.

The forests and the Tatoosh Range. We were supposed to climb up there, but the weather did not cooperate.

It was a lovely day out, despite the weather.

As we climbed to the height of this day’s hike, we got lost in the clouds.

Standing on the edge of the world.

This little one was clearly not worried about us.

Wild blueberries I think!

There was a sprinkling of colour everywhere, amongst the vivid green.

Looking out over the namesake lakes.

The narrow slot canyon, cut through the rock, forming a sheer drop almost two hundred feet to the river below.

I do love the stone bridges in the park.

Bridges and tunnels!

Looking down into the rushing waters.

It’s a beautiful spot in the park and well worth a stop.

There’s my girl…

The last waterfall was a small one, but pretty enough.
