A little bit spur of the moment (Friday night), Justine and I decided to catch the Vancouver Whitecaps MLS game at BC Place on Saturday afternoon.
It was an amazing day - sunny and warm - and we rode our bikes along the seawall to get to the stadium. Much easier than driving or transit.
It was a pretty action-packed game - the final score was 2-2. Vancouver had the lead until the last few minutes, when Seattle drew even. It was a great atmosphere, with both sets of fans really getting into the game.
Vancouver missed a few great chances (including the one above), and the Vancouver keeper was forced into a series of amazing saves.
We had a very fun afternoon, and will definitely be back for more games. Finally a Vancouver team I can support!
Around the same time, Stu and Ethan were over for a visit. I had a couple of pics of them, hanging out at our place on Mariner Walk.
