Continuing with the photocentric posts, this one covers the rest fo our time in Hood River, including lots of bird photos, photos of people on the river, the local scenery and lots of pics of the mountains. Again, very little commentary in this post.
The Mountains of Hood River

A few views of Mount Hood, from Panorama Point.

And to the north, Mount Adams rises over the landscape.
The Columbia River and Rowena Loops

Looking down on the Columbia River, from up on Rowena Crest.

A couple of shots of the Loops, looking down.

I love the arid, desert-like scenery of the area.

Stellar Jay Gallery
We had a group of stellar jays that spent a lot of time near our campsite, which provided good opportunities for lots of photos!

The Drive to Mount Rainier

The drive to Mount Rainier took us along the western flank of Mount Adams and provided a number of great views of the mountain.

Along the way, we made a stop for lunch beside a river. It was a lovely spot for a short rest.
