Happy Canada Day! We had a fun and busy day that I thought I would share some pics from. Justine and I did a 40 km bike ride in the morning, then spent the afternoon with our friends Katie and John at their new place in Port Moody, before walking over to the Port Moody Canada Day festival to see my favorite band, 54-40! Great day!
This one isn’t a huge post, but I thought I should try and get a couple of quick, recent posts up while I work my way through a mountain of photos from our Montreal trip. More of this posts will be coming. It just takes a long time…
First thought, I am pleased to say that we finally got the roof on the house opened up. It took us until June 30th, due to a combination of the worst spring ever, plus us just not being around. But we’ve had some nice weather finally, and been able to enjoy the roof the past couple of days.
The concert in the evening was great! The band, as always, put on a great show. The played all the hits and tried their best to get the crowd into it. It was a bit of a task, given the outdoor venue and that many people had been sitting out in the sun all day. Still, we enjoyed it and it was a great way to celebrate Canada Day, with one of Canada’s best bands!
