The weekend was surprisingly nice, so Justine and I headed down to Reifel to meet up with our friend Katie, and see what was going on at the bird sanctuary. It was relatively quiet, but there were a few good sightings.
This hawk was on a light on the road into the sanctuary. I tried to get close for a better shot, but he got spooked and flew off.
The wood ducks are always beautiful.
For whatever reason, there was a huge number of herons hanging out in the lake near the entrance.
