Justine and I took a little road trip this past weekend, so I'll put some posts up on that as I have some time. In the meantime, we walked by the new house today and noticed some definite progress being made. It's all little things, but they do seem to confirm that they are moving towards getting the place done. They are supposed to have the model suite open this weekend. I'm not completely convinced, as there's quite a lot of work still to do on the outside.
It looks like the model suite on the ground floor is almost completely done - appliances are in, carpet is laid and it looks like it's ready to go. The security guard mentioned that he thinks the upstairs unit is also done.
They have also almost finished the painting on the outside - the trim work is mostly done, and they've now painted the panels at the top.
They have also started to install outside light fixtures, and a lot of the debris has been removed from around the site. It looks like they are focusing on the landscaping along the front, which makes sense.
From the street, it looks like our kitchen cabinets are installed. It doesn't look like counters are in, or appliances, but cabinets are a good start. It also looks like the interior light fixtures have been installed.
The weather has been absolutely amazing the last week or so, and our stroll this evening was no exception. We stopped to take some pictures of downtown, on our way home.
As always, the gardens along the seawall are in full bloom, with different flowers always seeming to be out. Tonight was no exception.
