I've been very lax on new posts, but hopefully this one will make up for it. Earlier this week, Justine and I put a first deposit down on a new home. It's a 2 bedroom townhouse with what should be a great roof-top deck, located a few blocks away from our current home. The development is a small one, and it is being built as we speak, with an expected completion in June next year. Here's an artist's rendering of the building.

The foundation and parking levels have all been poured already, and it seems like the work is moving along well. At a little over 1,000 square feet it's an upgrade for us, and we're very much looking forward to having a brand new place to call home!
