The photography workshop I did last week was focused on time lapse - taking a series of still photos over a very long time frame, and stitching them together into a video that compresses time. It's a lot of work to create a (in this case) very short video that covers hours of time.
The video below is my very first attempt, made from an afternoon scene to try and capture the changing light, and the shadows that appear as the sun goes down over the Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada (about an hour north of Vegas).
It's not amazing, but I think it's a good first try.
