This weekend was our last weekend at home before our trip back to Ontario to spend time with our families over the Christmas break. Cancun - For Work, Honest!

I’m taking a short break from the Netherlands posts to do a more recent update. I got to add a new country to my list - Mexico. Oddly enough, it was a work trip for a Partner Event, so there was very little beach time, and mostly it was just way too hot. But the weather ended upbeing good, and I got a round of golf in. We were lucky enough to have Mom come and stay with us for a week over my birthday weekend! She was in town for a Wednesday to Wednesday, over the long weekend. Snowy Vancouver

Starting on Tuesday night, we got a serious blast of winter. By the time it was all done with, we apparently got 28cm of snow, making it something like the 4th biggest single day snowfall in the city’s recorded history. On Wednesday, we got out for a walk in the afternoon, as it was still coming down, to enjoy the snow. We don’t get a lot, and it is a bit magical when we do.
