After all the work and stress around getting the cottage delivered and set-up, we were back to the city for a week before heading back to Galiano to continue getting settled in. The weather was nice for a few days,a nd we’re starting to see the first signs of spring as the flowers start to bloom.
When we left the property, the trench from the workshop to the cottage was still uncovered. It was the one last task we needed Galiano Excavating to complete. The benefit of having a security camera on the property is that we can see when stuff gets done. First thing Monday morning the guys were back at the property and filled in the trench.
We’re left with a bit of a mud pit to clean up, but at least all the heavy equipment work is done, and we can work away at the landscaping as we feel like it.
The rest of the week at home was busy (work) but the weather was nice. I’ve been trying to keep up with the walks in the evening, and that gave me a few chances for some nice pics of the flowers starting to come out for spring.
