Earlier this spring (April I think) I had been out for a walk and took a bunch of pictures of spring blossoms. I completely forgot about them, and never did anything with the pictures. So here are a bunch of random shots, just so I have something to post.
At the top of the stairs going down to the seawall, the City has some beautiful gardens. They had this spectacular tulips in this spring.
These bushes are all along 7th Ave, and change colour quite dramatically over the course of the spring.
The magnolias with the huge blossoms are always spectacular.
Along 7th, there are a lot of old, mature cherries that flower each spring. It’s always amazing.
There are always lots of tulips in the spring!
There are a few spots along 7th that have great view out over the city.
These white magnolias seem to hold their flowers quite well. They seem to last longer than the big ones.
Out for a ride with Justine, coming back along 7th shows the cherries in full bloom.
Once the petals start coming off the cherries, it’s like pink snow.
A couple of interesting “physical distancing” sings the City have put up at various parks around the city.
