Last Ski Day for the Season?

Despite how busy things have been, we decided to head up to Whistler for the day, for what will probably be the last day of skiing for the season. It ended up being a great day - 17 cm of fresh powder and an early start made for some great runs.

The conditions were a real mixed bag - great, soft, light snow up top, but really heavy around mid mountain. It made for very tiring runs. We also had a real mix of blue sky and white-out conditions, that made it challenging.

There was lots of fresh snow to start the day off well.

We got a couple of really nice, quick first runs in. After our 4th run, they open up Peak Chair, so we headed up and into the back bowl. There was so much fresh, untracked powder and it was defintiely the run of the day.

Lots of fresh snow all over the mountain!
