Today was the epic day of the road trip. From our base at Tombstone Territorial Park, we made the long drive up the Dempster Highway to the Arctic Circle. With only one place to stop for gas in 400 km of road, there were some risks. To make the trip more manageable, we left the trailer behind, and brought Uncle Dave and Linda with us in Dad's truck. Today was a short driving day, and a nice break from the road. After spending the morning in Dawson City, we headed north to the Dempster Highway, and a short drive to the Tombstone campground in Tombstone Territorial Park. We got in a hike in the snow, and enjoyed a fire in the chilly weather.
